Sources of stress

There is no shortage of factors within the organization that can cause stress .The term stress is now found to be the regular vocabulary of managers and employees while some stress is normal to life. If stress is repeated or prolonged individuals experience physical and psychological discomfort. There seems to be a strong relation between stress and illness.

 

 
Often 30% of workers complain that they are under stress at work. Some studies have found that massage therapy, meditation yoga at intervals during working hours relieve stress when used on a regular basis. The effects of stress have found to be widely spread, implicating changes in behavior, moods, and neuropsychological functioning. Stress is associated with demands and resources. Task demands are responsibilities, pressures, obligations. managers and employees sources are things within an individual‘s control that can be used to resolve demands.
